Introduction

Pengower has a proven Platform as a Service which offers power, flexibility and reliability to rapidly design, develop and deliver applications in the cloud. The Pengower platform virtually runs on almost every device as long as an internet browser is accessible. Logging to your Pengower Account gives you access to the Pengower Builder.

Builder Menu

The Builder Menu is the starting point in creating an application. It contains all the main actions in the builder to edit and modify your application.

Applications

The Applications button enables you to directly open all applications under your default configuration.

The All Applications button will open a new window that enables you to select a configuration and open a specific application under it.

Options

Options of different actions to modify or edit the application and its content.

New Application

New Application enables users to create their own application. This is the best way to start at for first time application users.

Title

The name of the application

Description

A way to describe the application's purpose and use

Client

The Client drop down enables you to select from a list of existing clients in your list.

Client Name

If you wish to create a new client, the "new client" option can be selected on the Client drop down and this field can be used to put in the Client's Name

Supported Cultures

Supported Cultures are the languages that the application would support.


Edit Application

Edit Application enables you to edit the application that is currently active.

Title

The name of the application

Description

Client

The Client's name that is associated with the application.

License Model

The License type that the application has.

License Count

The number of licenses that is enabled in the application.

Public Views

The number of views that can be accessed by the public.

Expiry Date

Enables you to make your application unaccessible after a certain amount of period.

Password Regex

Password Regular Expression sets the rules that the password needs to conform with to be a valid password (e.g Password needs to contain at least one number and one upper case letter, etc.)

Pwd Regex Description

Regular Expression Description describes the rules set by the Regular Expression that should be followed.

Password History

The number of previous assigned passwords that are stored in the system that can't be used again as a password.

Force Password Change (days)

Enables you to assign a number of days where the application will force users to change their password.

Hash Passwords

This enables you to apply a hasing algorithm to your user's passwords before storing them in the database making it protected.

Supported Culture

Supported Cultures are the languages that the application would support.


Export XML

Exports the application's entire structure and scripts as an XML File.

Import XML

Imports an application's entire structure and scripts in XML File format.

Compare Apps

Gives you the ability to compare two applications and their meta objects. This is helpful when you are trying to duplicate functions and objects.

Show Users Statistics

User statistics shows you the total number of users active in your application and their respective user types

Generate Translation Spreadsheet

Generates the translation spreadsheet of the application.

Upload Translation Spreadsheet

Enables you to upload a translation sheet in spreadsheet format or select from a list of supported translations in the applications.

Upload Icons

Enables you to upload custom icons to the application. Custom icon sizes should be 16x16, 24x24, and 32x32. Accepted formats are PNG, JPEG and GIF.

Upload Login Page Image

Enables you to upload a custom image to be used as an Image Banner in the application's login page.

Enables you to upload a custom favicon that will be seen in your browser's tab when the application is opened.

Clone Object

Enables you to duplicate certain meta types (e.g. Types, Relationships, Actions, etc) and the meta objects under them (e.g. people, logout, add people, etc)

Find

Enables you to search through the application.

Source Control

Gives you the ability to control and monitor actions in the applications.

Revert Object Changes

Undo the most recent object change

This enables you to cancel a revert object action by putting the application state before a revert object action was done.

Enables you to view the last actions done on a meta object and the owner.
